Hahnemühle German Etching is a heavyweight 310gsm genuine mould-made paper with a pronounced felt texture and velvety tactile surface. It gives paintings, watercolours and traditional fine art reproductions extra depth and character while retaining strong colour and detail.

Best for

Particularly well suited to paintings, watercolours, mixed media, etching-style artwork and fine art reproductions where the paper surface should contribute to the character of the finished print.

Print sizes & borders

Available from A4 to A0. A 20mm white border is supplied as standard. Smaller borders or borderless printing are available at no extra charge. Need a custom size? Contact us with your required dimensions and we will advise on the best format for this paper.

Artwork files

Upload your high-resolution artwork when ordering. 300dpi at final print size is ideal; around 150dpi is the practical minimum for many artworks. Adobe RGB or sRGB files are both welcome. We manually check every file before printing and will contact you if we spot a resolution, proportion or print-quality issue.

Turnaround, delivery & collection

Printing normally takes approximately 3–5 working days. Shipped prints are carefully protected, rolled and sent in a rigid postal tube. UK delivery is calculated at checkout, with free UK delivery on print orders over £100. Free pickup is available from R Young Art Gallery in Wokingham.
